It's the worst!!
I've had to vacuum up rice for days.
Sensory bins have a bad rap, but they are a cost-effective resource to use with children to support play routines, sensory exploration, and fine and visual motor development, among other things.
It's motivating, fun, and easy for non-therapists to replicate. And I have so many tips that will help you avoid the dumping and throwing.
In this webinar, we’ll explore why sensory bins are such a great addition to your therapy toolkit.
We’ll walk you through the different types of play you can encourage with sensory bins and how each type can support various therapeutic goals (plus how to grade them). You learn my simple formula for creating sensory bins, with hundreds of combinations possible.
Understanding your clients’ sensory processing needs is key to making sensory bins work best for them, and we’ll give you practical tips on how to do this. We’ll also cover how to avoid common pitfalls to ensure your sensory bins are both safe and effective.
